I am a pet portrait artist and graphic designer on the Central Coast, NSW.
All of my life I have loved animals and drawing. Upon leaving school,
I studied graphic design, majoring in illustration, and since then, have been working as an in-house graphic designer for one of Australia's leading educational software companies, where both my design and illustration skills are utilised.
Drawing animals and capturing their personality is a challenge I enjoy. I have used pastels on many different types of paper over the last few years. Since discovering velour paper, I haven't looked back, finding this to be the best combination for pet portraits, especially fur.
The non-human members of my family are: Kayla, a ball-mad, frisbee-crazy Australian Cattle Dog; Middy, my 23 year old Quarter Horse gelding bred by Winderadeen (sired by Beggar Bingo); and my latest addition, a Classy Priority Quarter Horse gelding called Classy Enuff.
My husband also owns: a solid Appaloosa mare called Karal Dier Sensation; Tascha, a retired Quarter Horse mare; and Buddy, a Standardbred gelding. |
